The MPL ID Season 7 has finally concluded with EVOS Legends claiming the crown as the MPL Champions while Bigetron Esports sits in the runner-up position. The two teams showcased an impressive and scintillating set of skills that kept the audience at the edge of their seats. With their successful run in the MPL ID Season 7, EVOS Legends and Bigetron Esports will represent their country, Indonesia, for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2021, which will be held in June. They are currently the first two teams who have been confirmed to participate in the annual tournament.
After a fist-clenching moment in the grand finals of MPL ID Season 7, EVOS Legends stood tall as this season’s champion after defeating Bigetron Alpha in a BO7 match, securing a resounding 4-2 win. At the early stages of the match, it would seem that Bigetron had the upper hand with their unorthodox picks and surprise mechanics. However, EVOS had its own share of skilled players like Luminaire, who caught up and managed to turn the tides to their favor during the fifth and sixth games.
The fight doesn’t end there for both teams as the champion, EVOS Legends, and the runner-up, Bigetron Esports, will have another chance to prove who is the strongest. Both teams will represent Indonesia in the upcoming MSC 2021, following the other teams from other regions which are yet to be determined.
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) is an annual esports event featuring different teams from all over Southeast Asia. Moonton canceled the event last year due to the global pandemic. However, Moonton recently announced the event's return with a new and improved format and a bigger prize pool of $150,000 USD.
The event will also include a few in-game activities, giveaways, mini-events, and special guests for the viewers to enjoy. This marks the first time that the regional championship will venture into an online tournament format, with the official websites brewing surprises for viewers.
