Riot Games has officially confirmed the arrival of two new champions, Rengar and Kha’Zix in League of Legends: Wild Rift. The two new champions will arrive on May 6, 2021, along with a themed event called Masters of the Hunt, according to the Patch Notes for 2.2b. Players will have a chance to unlock either Rengar or Kha’Zix for free if they participate in the upcoming event along with exciting in-game loot and cosmetics. The expected release date of the two new assassin champions, Rengar and Kha’Zix, in Wild Rift will be on May 6, 2021. Both of the upcoming champions can be unlocked in the in-game shop or can be acquired by participating in the upcoming themed event titled “Masters of the Hunt.”
Rengar will be released on May 6 at 8:01 AM SGT.
Rengar is an assassin champion that grows in power by collecting bounty trophies from enemy takedowns. He can also gain camouflage from his ultimate skill and can leap through enemies if he is inside a brush or camouflaged. Players can unlock him for 5,500 Blue Motes or 725 Wild Cores through the in-game shop.
Kha’Zix will be released on May 6 at 8:01 AM SGT.
Similar to Rengar, Kha’Zix is also an assassin champion but with a different gameplay mechanic. He gains evolution points after reaching certain levels which upgrades his abilities, gaining new effects. He can also turn invisible using his ultimate skill and he can activate it up to three times. Players can unlock this new champion for 5,500 Blue Motes or 725 Wild Cores.
This event will feature the two new champions Rengar and Kha’Zix as they prove who is the apex predator between them. Players can acquire various in-game loots and cosmetics during the event as well as a champion selection chest that can unlock one of the two new champions in the game.
The event is expected to arrive together with the release of Rengar and Kha’Zix in Wild Rift. More details will be revealed at a later date.
