FIGHT Esports Launches ‘FIGHT Campus League’ for Students from the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia

  • FIGHT Campus League is set to feature PUBG Mobile, ML:BB and COD: Mobile as its three esports titles for the event.
  • The prize pool for each title is set at approximately $3,900 each for participating teams.
  • The event will kick off on May 5 with FIGHT Campus League Malaysia being first in line with its PUBG Mobile tournament.

FIGHT Esports is set to host its first-ever regional FIGHT Campus League for college and university students from the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. The regional league will kick off in Malaysia with a PUBG Mobile event that will take place from May 5 to June 11 leading up to the grand finals on June 15 and 16. The event will be livestreamed on FIGHT Esports’ TikTok and Facebook accounts. Astro’s eGG Network will also broadcast the event as a result of a partnership with FIGHT Esports. The event will also feature Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Call of Duty: Mobile which will be held later this year. 

FIGHT Campus League Overview

FIGHT Campus League Malaysia also marks the partnership between FIGHT Esports with TikTok Malaysia. As a result of the partnership, TikTok will be giving away a total of 12,000 PUBG UCs from Wallet Codes during each livestream on the platform. The Malaysian League will feature a prize pool of RM 16,000 ($3,900).

As part of a regional movement, the FIGHT Campus League Philippines’ Call of Duty: Mobile tournament will begin on May 7 – June 18 with a prize pool of PHP190,000 ($3,900) while the FIGHT Campus Legend Indonesia will be looking for the top Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams from June – October with a prize pool of IDR50,000,000 ($3,500).

Ariff Abu, Team Lead at FIGHT Esports Malaysia revealed “We’ve been looking into regional, multi-title tournaments for some time after organizing community level tournaments in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines for the past year and getting feedback from students asking for a dedicated tournament of their own.”
