The fifth week of the MPL MY Season 7 has finally concluded with TODAK and SUHAZ EVOS in prime position to finish on top of the Group stages. Todak in Group A and Suhaz EVOS in Group B have been incredibly dominant so far picking up multiple wins and showcasing some extremely innovative strategies in the MPL MY Season 7. Meanwhile, Team SMG in Group A and Team Bosskurr in Group B have had a disappointing run so far and will have to double their effort in order to keep up with the other teams in the coming weeks.
Todak holds the top rank in the current Group A standings. Todak had an impressive run in the tournament so far, only bowed down against Orange Esports during week four and Homebois during week 5. Following Todak, is Homebois, Reborn Esports, and Orange Esports with the same score of four wins and four losses. Meanwhile, Team SMG is sitting in the lowest seat with a score of three wins and five losses.
Team SMG impressed the crowd as it managed to make a comeback after a last-ditch effort in defending their base against Todak in the second match during Week 5. However, Todak didn’t take any chances and secured their second win during the third match before SMG could do anything.
The collaboration team Suhaz Evos stands tall at the top rank, losing only to RSG MY during Week 4 and Geek Fam during week 5. With the potential of Suhaz Esports and the MPL experience of EVOS Esports combined, they managed to dominate the Group B bracket and secure the top spot. Following their rank is RSG MY with 1 win short for a tie, while Geek Fam and Red Esports sit behind with the same score of four wins and four losses. Team Bosskurr had the most disappointing run in the MPL MY Season 7 so far with a score of only one win and seven losses.
Bosskurr will have to double their team effort if they want to keep up with the rest of the teams. Their run in the MPL MY Season 7 so far is quite disappointing. Bosskurr‘s drafting against Suhaz Evos during Week 5 Day 2 seems a bit off which made it very hard for them to secure kills. They risked every teamfight despite the obvious power gap between them and Suhaz Evos which made things worse on their end. The match ended with Suhaz Evos securing two wins and Team Bosskurr with no wins.
