Jio Partners with Qualcomm to Present INR 25,00,000 Call of Duty Mobile Aces Esports Challenge

Jio is hosting a large-scale Call of Duty Mobile event dubbed the CODM Aces Esports Challenge in partnership with Qualcomm. The event will feature 5v5 team play with INR 2,500,000 ($34,070) up for grabs for competing teams. The matches will be telecasted live on JioTV Esports HD, Facebook Watch, and JioGames’ YouTube channel. The event is a result of a yearlong collaboration between Qualcomm and Jio, with the telecom company revealing that it seeks to empower gamers and allow players a chance to show their professional esports skills. Registrations have already commenced and the events are set to kick off in the coming weeks.

  • Registration began on – April 1st, 2021  
  • Registration closes on – April 11th, 2021 (solos) and April 30th, 2021  (5v5).

The Call of Duty Mobile Aces Esports Challenge is a new initiative by Jio to address the growing demand for mobile esports, even as mobile internet penetration in India continues to grow. Jio revealed that it seeks to create more opportunities for gamers, enable deeper collaboration and quality content within the gaming community through the livestreams, showcase and nurture the next level of gaming talent to compete and win on International levels. JioGames and Qualcomm Technologies’ partnership will lead to more events for esports fans in India and beyond throughout 2021.
