The committee did not reveal the names of the penalized players. However, some esports players have come clean with their mistakes, respected the committee’s decision, and accepted the punishment.

Z4pnu is one of the veteran members of Execration. He and his team had a great start in the first week of MPL PH Season 7 as they beat Omega Esports with a flawless 2-0 victory. However, due to his penalty, he won’t be participating in their match against Blacklist international on March 26 and Bren Esports on March 28.

In a vlog from Nexplay Esports Coach Akosi Dogie, one of the team’s members Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera, showed a choking pose after defeating Bren Esports in the MPL PH Season 7. He has also received a fine for this gesture.

The committee stated that they will not tolerate any violation of the MPL PH rules and will seek to strengthen the management of players to prevent similar issues from happening in the future.
