Nexplay finished the match with a massive 14 win gap.

Everything came to light during the post-match press conference when Bren Esports was interviewed regarding their match against Nexplay Esports. Bren Esports coach  Francis “Duckeyyy” Glindro expressed his amazement at how much Nexplay has improved in just a year.

“Actually to be fair, no excuses, they had better execution this time around and I strongly believe they have improved with the addition of the new players. Their Yve is strong,” said Duckeyyy.

The coach goes on to say that the two members who did stand out for them are Exort, Yawi, and Renejay. They believed that the three Mobile Legends esports pros have definitely improved since last year.

The coach further elaborated on how they lost against Exort’s Yve by saying they really have no idea how to deal with the new hero. This is due to the fact that most of their scrims didn’t involve anyone playing as Yve. The team thought they can easily burst out Exort’s Yve and close the gap. However, this was not the case as Exort became their biggest hurdle in the match which gave way for H2wo to wipe them out easily.

Despite their disappointing run on the MPL PH Season 7 Week 1, the team goes on to say that they probably just got overconfident but they will be back next week stronger and much more serious.
