Season 3 of The Nationals, The Philippines’ esports league, will soon kick off, offering a massive opportunity for aspiring gamers in the Philippines. In the third season, The Nationals will no longer be limited to esports athletes. Instead, the Nationals Season 3 will also open its doors to aspiring players who aim to become professional esports players. To facilitate this, two new tournament divisions for the aspiring esports pros have been opened: the Challenger Series, which will be open to all, and the Academy Series, for school, or university students. The top teams from each division will get a chance to participate in the Draft Series where they have a chance to join some of the biggest Filipino esports organizations.

The Nationals Season 3 Details

The Nationals, the Philippines’ franchise-based esports league will soon kick off its third season with a twist. This time, the top teams from the tournament will get a chance to get drafted to one of the franchise teams of The Nationals such as Bren Esports, Omega Esports, Cignal Ultra, and more. 

The tournament will have two series, the Challenger Series where everyone can participate, and the Academy Series where only students currently enrolled in a school or university can participate. 

“We wanted to create a better player ecosystem, which is why we are changing our format into having an inclusive and full path to pro series,” stated Mr. Ren Vitug, The Nationals Commissioner. 

The Nationals has all teams competing in three prominent game titles such as Tekken 7, DOTA 2, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. However, the commissioner is teasing a fourth title entering the league this year. More details regarding the fourth title will be announced at a later date.

How to Register to The Nationals Season 3

Currently, the tournament registration for Tekken 7 is underway. Interested players can register for the Tekken 7 tournament using the links provided for the Challenger Series and Academy Series.
