Irony Inc. to Host INR 100,000 GamerzArena x Circuit Free Fire Open

Irony Inc. is set to host its first esports tournament in India in partnership with Alpha Esports Tech Inc and Garena. The tournament will be hosted on GamerzArena, a platform owned by Alphatech. Registration is open to all and 48 teams will be shortlisted to compete against each other for a prize pool of INR 100,000 ($1,380). The tournament will kick off on February 25th with the League Qualifiers and will end on March 28th. Sign-ups are now open and teams that are interested can head to the official tournament page to sign up. The news of the partnership comes just days after Irony Inc. partnered with Esports Charts to bring data and analytics services for the esports community in India. 

GamerzArena x Circuit Free Fire Open Registration and Rules

Teams need to register at irony.gamerzarena.com to sign up for the upcoming event. In case of any queries, players can reach out to Gamerzarena via email: support@gamerzarena.com 

  • Matches held on weekends will be played from 12:00 IST to 15:00 IST. 
  • Matches held on weekdays will be played from 17:00 IST to 20:00 IST.

Teams will be required to play 3 hours of random matchmaking to earn a score for entering the League Qualifiers. All teams will be required to send screenshots of their four total games for the qualifiers. 

GamerzArena will calculate the scores and notify the shortlisted teams on March 2nd. Details on the upcoming stages are not yet available on the official website and players to have been requested to check the full ruleset before registering on the tournament website. 

Irony Co-Founders Share Their Thoughts on Their First Free Fire Tournament

Ankit Bhatia, co-founder of Irony revealed “Esports viewership and fandom are rising much faster than any traditional sport in the world today, yet. This tournament is our first step to change that – By bringing together teams, fans and data on a single stage, we intend to make esports more understandable to the Indian marketer”.

Co-Founder Tushaar Gard revealed stated in the announcement “Predicated on providing creativity, access and service to marquee publishers operating in the Indian market, we are excited to announce our first of many initiatives with Garena and look forward to deepening this relationship."
