Riot Games recently announced in their Season 2021 Opening Day Livestream that an All Mid All Random (ARAM) game mode, was currently in development for Wild Rift. League of Legends PC fans are hyped with this news, as ARAM is one of the more popular game modes in the PC version.

Wild Rift ARAM Game Mode
Brian “FeralPony” Feeney stated in the livestream that they are currently working on a new game mode, ARAM, and players will get a chance to test this new mode later this year.
ARAM game mode is popular among League of Legends PC players due to its fast-paced gameplay and its inherent crazy gameplay. This game mode forces players to play with random champions on a map where there is only one lane. Players usually have fun and discover unique item builds in this game mode.
Players can only purchase items after they die and respawn. Going back to base is pointless as there is no healing fountain. Therefore, everyone is forced to survive for as long as they can to rack up some gold coins before dying so they can buy items and come back stronger than before.
In the PC version of ARAM, the map is composed of two turrets and one nexus on each side of the map. There will be healing runes placed on each side of the map to which any player can step on to gain health and mana. These runes have a long cooldown before they recharge so players will have to use them wisely.
The map for the ARAM game mode is named Howling Abyss, at least in the PC version of the game. According to the League of Legends lore, this map is a giant bridge that connects the Frejlord region to the Frostguard Citadel.
Home of The Adorable Poros
One more reason that players love this map is that this bridge is home to the cute and adorable poros. Poros are mysterious, magical creatures who inhabit the Howling Abyss. In the PC version, players receive an item called “Poro-snax” that they can use to feed these cute adorable creatures on the map.
Will the poros appear in Wild Rift’s version of Howling Abyss? We’ll find out soon enough.
