Free Fire has finally confirmed the release date for the most-awaited One Punch Man collaboration event. The reveal was made through the official Twitter page for Free Fire on Jan. 7, 2021. The event will feature a ton of content based on the anime franchise.

Free Fire x One Punch Man Collaboration Release Date
A post was made on the official Twitter page of Free Fire announcing the release date for the collaboration event. In the post, it stated that the event will go live on Jan. 10, 2021.
The event is called “The Hero Trial” and will immerse players with the world of Free Fire merged with the One Punch Man anime franchise. This will challenge players into unleashing the hero inside them.
By observing the image on the post, we can see five stars at the bottom left corner with “Trial Stage” above the stars. This might depict that the event will feature five stages and players will jump right on the first stage this coming Jan. 10, 2021.
This hyped up the fans who were eagerly waiting for this grand reveal. After the Operation Chrono event, the players have been looking forward to their next collaboration.
Genos-themed Backpack Leaked
With the announcement of the official release date of the event. The data miners have uncovered more One Punch Man themed contents for Free Fire. A Genos-themed backpack has been revealed with a cool-looking transformation based on the level.
Genos Backpack Level 1
The first level of the backpack features a circular backpack with metal plating. A simple-looking backpack but it gets better the more it’s upgraded.
Genos Backpack Level 2
The next level of the backpack features a full metal plating with what looks like metallic armguards on the sides. The design looks similar to Geno’s chest with a glowing fusion core inside.
Genos Backpack Level 3
The final upgrade for the backpack features a much more futuristic look depicting Geno’s new metallic body after being destroyed from a fight. The combination of Black, Yellow, and silver is blended nicely together giving a cyberpunk vibe to the backpack.

Similar to the Operation Chrono event, the Hero Trial event will be a big event that will last until late January. The event will surely feature a lot of new content and possibly, new limited-time game modes for players to enjoy.
