- Players who used VPNs are having problems finishing in-game missions in Wild Rift.
- The problem can be fixed by sending a request to migrate your account in the customer support.
- The request could take weeks to process but it should fix the issue.
Wild Rift is currently bombarding its players with a lot of events. Currently, three events are taking place simultaneously, offering various freebies for everyone who completes the missions. However, recently, it was found that players who used VPNs before the game was available in their region couldn’t complete the event missions. Here is how players can work around the problems and finish their event missions.

Fix Event Missions not Progressing in Wild Rift
Players who used VPNs before and are now playing Wild Rift in their designated region’s server are experiencing issues with the in-game events. Their matches are not being counted towards the event missions, no matter how many games they play. This is due to the fact that in order to progress in the missions, you need to play on the region your account was registered.
If you registered your account in the SEA server, then you need to play on that server in order to make progress in the events.
The VPN Trick
You can work around this issue by activating your VPN while logging into the game. Start a match and once you are at champion select, disable the VPN to get back on your region to avoid lag issues. You’d have to do this every time you start your game, but this should let you finish your event missions.
It is highly suggested that you submit a request to migrate your account as this trick might further bring problems to your account. Keep in mind that this is just a remedy and not a permanent fix. Account migration is still the best course of action to fix this issue.
Account Migration
The best way to fix this issue is by contacting Wild Rift customer support. This will be a slow process, but it’s foolproof. Head on to the official Wild Rift website and send a ticket to migrate your account to your designated region.
The process could take up weeks or months before they can migrate your account. As long as you didn’t do anything suspicious with your account, your request should be approved.
