Wild Rift Rewards Players With Free Champions and Skins

Wild Rift has expanded to more regions, and it’s getting a warm welcome from its fans. In celebration of League of Legends: Wild Rift and its successful launch in Vietnam, Oceania, Taiwan, Europe, Turkey, Russia & CIS, Middle East, and North Africa, Riot Games is giving us more goodies to claim in the game. The event gives you a total of 5 Random Champion Chests and 4 Random Skin Chests.

Wild Rift Rewards Event Details

After updating the game and logging in,  you can check the event under the events icon located on the main menu’s upper left side. Take note that the event icon may not appear immediately depending on your network speed so give it time to load up. 

Along with the new main lobby background, Riot has prepared something special for its players in the events menu. 

The event runs from Dec. 17 until next year, January 18, 2020, and it will be a weekly event. Each week you will unlock specific tasks that you can complete to earn blue essence, and after completing all the tasks for that particular week, you will receive either a Random Champion Chest or a Random Skin Chest. 

The Random Champion Chest contains all champions except champions that are released during the current major release cycle. So Darius, Draven, and Wukong won’t be obtainable through this chest. However, an upcoming event will give you a chance to obtain Darius and Draven for free.

The Random Skin Chest gives you a chance to obtain a random skin from regular up to Epic Tier. You won’t be able to get legendary tier skins like Dark Cosmic Jhin and K/DA All Out Seraphine. 

This generous event is only the beginning of Wild Rift’s upcoming giveaways. The forthcoming event titled “Noxian Brotherhood,” where you can get a chance to unlock Darius and Draven for free, will also be coming in the next few weeks.
