Earlier yesterday at ESI Winter Digital 2020, James Yang, Director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports spoke about the future of the PUBG Mobile esports scene and the direction the company wants to take in 2021. In his keynote, also teased the biggest Mobile Esports circuit yet, claiming that the prize pool for 2021 will be the biggest one in mobile esports history. He iterated that his team's vision is to make PUBG Mobile the first tier 1 mobile esport in the world.

The Prize Pool of 2021 PUBG Mobile Esports Circuit Teased
Yang spoke about the ecosystem of the game in a keynote address at ESI Winter Digital 2020. Towards the end, he revealed that PUBG Mobile will be revealing the future of its esports program at the Esports Awards 2020 and at the beginning of the PUBG Mobile Global Championships (PMGC).
It was also clearly stated that the PUBG Mobile Esports prize pool for 2021 will be the biggest one in mobile esports history.
The PMGC kicks off on November 24th. The tournament features 24 professional PUBG Mobile teams from all over the world competing for the lion’s share of a whopping $2 Million USD prize pool (Currently, the biggest prize pool in mobile esports history).

Yang began his keynote by showcasing the growth in viewership and players that PUBG Mobile had achieved over the last year.
It was also announced that Yang would present a keynote on November 20th at the Esports Awards Expo, revealing the future of its esports program. This will be followed by the main announcement of the PUBG Mobile Esports prize pool for 2021, at the beginning of the PMGC.
