Indian tournament organizer NODWIN Gaming has partnered with Red Bull to announce the NorthEast Esports Summit featuring a prize pool of INR 3,50,000. The event will feature tournaments for esports titles Clash of Clans and Free Fire.

Red Bull has been a long-term ally of NODWIN gaming, and the brand is responsible for promoting esports globally. The Austrian energy drink brand has supported traditional sports and esports in India, and the new partnership will help promote esports in the North East.

Two qualifiers of the Northeast Esports Summit have concluded, and the last qualifier’s registrations will end on 23rd November. The top teams from all qualifiers will showcase their skills at the grand finals on 5th and 6th December. Registration is open to residents of North-Eastern states only.

Clash of Clans Tournament Details

A total of four qualifiers are taking place for Clash of Clans. Each qualifier will have 128 available slots and matches will take place in a single-elimination format (best-of-1). A total of four teams will qualify for the grand finals from the initial qualifiers. The semi-finals and finals will follow a best-of-three format.

Free Fire Tournament Details

A total of four qualifiers are taking place for Free Fire. Each qualifier has 400 available slots and 3 teams from each qualifier proceed to the grand finals. The first two rounds will follow a best-of-1 format. Round 3 matches in the qualifiers will follow a best-of-2 format. Finals of the qualifier will follow a best-of-5 format. Three teams from each qualifier will get the opportunity to compete at the grand finals. Grand final matches will follow a best-of-12 format and the matches will be held over 2 days.  

Registration

Qualifier 1-3 have concluded. Registrations for Qualifier 4 started on 14th November and will continue till 23rd November via NODWIN Gaming’s website. Participants can only play in one of the two games unless they are disqualified from one of the games, in which case they may participate in the second game’s tournament. Residents of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram, Sikkim, Meghalaya and Assam are allowed to participate in this tournament and must own domicile proof.
