
Season 9 of Call of Duty: Mobile is set to launch on August 16, as announced by the developers. The season will be called 'Conquest'. Season 9 features a ton of cool changes and updates, so we break it down for you guys.
COD: Mobile Season 9
Ranked Series 6
Ranks will be reset in Season 9 and it will mark the beginning of Ranked Series 6. It will give all players a chance to re calibrate their ranks and aim for a fresh start.
New Feature - Gunsmith
One of the most exciting features of Season 9 is a feature called Gunsmith. It will allow increased customization on almost every part of a weapon. The number of loadouts will also be increased from five to ten to allow players more options to experiment in games. With the arrival of Gunsmith, all pistols and primary weapons will have the following customizable attachments:
- Optic
- Laser
- Muzzle
- Barrel
- Under barrel
- Ammunition
- Rear Grip
- Stock
- Perk
Each weapon will have these nine customizable slots and at a time any 5 slots can be utilized. These attachments will change the weapon's performance, handling and aesthetics. Attachments can be unlocked by leveling up the weapon while some attachments can be found pre attached. Not all attachments will have positives, as most will have some negative attributes associated with them.
Cosmetic only features such as Charm, Stickers and Reticles will also be customizable through the Gunsmith.

New Weapon - Kilo Bolt Action
A new weapon in being introduced as part of the Season 9 battle pass. It will be the first Marksman Rifle to be introduced into the game and will be called the Kilo - Bolt action.
New Locations in Battle Royale
The Battle Royale Mode is also getting an update with 4 new locations being added to the map. The locations are Campgrounds, Dormitory, Outpost and Radar Base.

10 versus 10 Mode
Another new feature in the game will be the introduction of the 10 v 10 game mode. This mode will not be in ranked but is expected to be one of more casual, run and gun style of chaotic action.
New Perk - Shield Turret
Another new feature that has been teased is the introduction of a new perk called Turret Shield. This will allow players to place a manually usable turret with a shield on the map. This turret can then be used by the player to gun down enemies. Although the turret will not make you fully invulnerable, the shield will add an extra layer of protection to help you win those gunfights.
