With the PUBG Mobile World League kicking off tomorrow, we throw up a power ranking list based on recent performances and expectations.

PUBG Mobile World League East Division

The East division is super stacked with some of the strongest teams from across Asia coming together.

10. T1

The Korean powerhouse are the national champions but what makes their case super interesting is the fact that they were picked up by an organization known for winning world championships. While South Korea haven’t had too much luck in previous competitions, T1 come from a region which has produced some of the top esports players in the world.

9. SynerGE

India’s SynerGE have been on a roll of late and have even managed to tweak their playstyle to find a more aggressive approach. Not only are they looking stronger than ever, no team will be taking this squad lightly in the World League. While their previous international forays might not have lived up to the mark, SynerGE seems to have found some good momentum heading into this season.

8. Morph  Team

Indonesian squad, Morph team are the only team to have beaten world champions, Bigetron in a LAN environment. However, this will be a great opportunity for the squad to come out of the shadows and prove that they too can take on the title of world champions.

7. Team Secret

The Malaysian champions had a good run in both the league stage and the finals, and even finished in the top 5 in the SEA Finals. With a ton of experience in BiuBiu and Madtoi on their side, Team Secret can prove to be extremely solid when the odds swing their way.

6. Orange Rock

South Asian League stage winners, Orange Rock have recruited two very strong players in GiLL and Sc0utOP but the question remains is whether the players will be able to find the required amount of synergy in the short time together. While Mavi has proven to be a strong and capable leader and the team has a wealth of international experience in both Sc0utOP and Daljitsk, they also have a lot of eyes and pressure on them due to the star players.

5. Valdus Esports

The Thai champions have found a new home in Valdus Esports and are a veteran squad in SEA. While the team have had a less than favorable result in the SEA Finals, their experience and longevity in the game will serve them well in this high pressure environment.

4. RRQ Athena

Another veteran Thai squad, RRQ Athena were the champions of the PMPL Thailand league stage and have played at past events such as PMCO Spring and Fall. One of the legacy organizations in PUBG Mobile and one that many look to at international events.

3. Yoodo Gank

The Malaysian squad are one of the region’s most experienced teams, having also played at the Fall Championship. They seem to be improving with each passing event and the fact that they won the SEA Finals with a near 100 point margin shows just how strong they are.

2. TSM-Entity

The kings of South Asia and the recently crowned PMIS 2020 champions, TSM-Entity are undoubtedly the team to beat from the South Asian region. With a lethal set of players, each of whom have proved themselves many times, TSM-Entity will look to bring glory to the region and improve upon their 5th placed finish at the Fall Season Global Finals.
