Orange Rock Win PMPL South Asia League Stage; TSM-Entity and Godlike Also Through To World League
- The PMPL South Asia League stage comes to an end.
- Orange Rock finished on top followed by TSM-Entity and Godlike.
The league stage of PMPL South Asia came to an end with Orange Rock being declared as the winners. With this the team qualified for the World League East Division along with second placed TSM-Entity and third placed Godlike. Two other teams from South Asia will join them via the finals next week as well. The end of the league stage also means that 4 teams have been eliminated.

Orange Rock Hold Onto Lead On Final Day
TSM-Entity fell flat on the final day while Orange Rock maintained their consistency with 3 top 5 finishes. By the end of the competition, OR finished with 10 chicken dinners in 48 matches, the highest out of all the other teams. Meanwhile TSM-Entity finished with the highest number of kills at 276. SynerGE’s 256 point haul in week 3 was the highest for a team in a week, but the team still fell short and ended in 4th place, 9 points behind Godlike. A chicken dinner on the final day allowed Godlike to comfortably regain the 3rd place while SynerGE had already finished their quota of games.
Soul and Marcos Gaming Impress on Final Day
Team Soul, who are under heavy fire for underperforming in the league stage, made a last ditch effort to impress their fans. The team ended in 8th place thanks to a last game chicken dinner, which also involved 14 kills. Marcos Gaming too, made up for a relatively quiet league stage with 3 top 3 finishes on the final day, eventually settling for 7th place.
Only Two Teams from Nepal Make it to the Finals
The only two teams in the grand finals who aren’t from India will be Nepal’s Elemntrix and Team Xtreme. Bangladesh’s INES along withNepal’s JyanMaara, Team HYPE and DEADEYES GUY have all been eliminated from the competition. One can hope that it was a learning experience for these squads and they can all bounce back and impress next season.

TSM-Entity’s Jonathan picked up the MVP prize for the third week and was also the overall kill leader. The young player has continued to impress and seems to be unstoppable in his current form. Following him is Megastar’s Vexe who ended the competition with 77 kills, taking the team to a respectable 5th place finish overall. Orange Rock’s win in the league stage net’s them 10,000 USD or 7.5 lakh INR.

The PMPL South Asia Finals will kick off on the 12th of June and last till the 14th. The top 2 teams excluding OR, TSM-Entity and and Godlike will also receive slots to the World League.
