PMPL Americas Survival Guide - The Battle For Domination in The West Starts Tomorrow

The last regional PUBG MOBILE Pro League aka PMPL Americas will kick off tomorrow i.e. 6th June and features teams from North America and South America. The tournament will be a 3 week long league with the top 6 teams qualifying to the World League at the end of the league. Just like PMPL South Asia, the tournament features 20 teams but unlike PMPL South Asia will not have a grand finals.

What's at Stake?

The top 6 teams after 3 weeks of play will be getting slots in the World League West Division where they will be joined by teams from Europe and MENA. PMPL Americas also features a $200,000 prize pool that will be spread among all 20 teams with the winners taking the lion’s share. Additionally, team’s will also be receiving prize money based on each week’s standings along with a weekly MVP award.

Format

The 20 teams have been divided into 5 groups of 4 teams each. On each day teams from each group will be playing. Each team will play a total of 20 games per week in the first two weeks. The final week will also see the same but an extra 4 games will be played with all 20 teams in the server.

Each game week will have breaks in between and it seems to be the case that gameweeks will be spread over the entire week with the next week’s games starting immediately after. Games will be held on the following match days and will begin at 4:30 AM IST or 7 AM SGT:

Gameweek 1: 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 13th June.

Gameweek 2: 14th, 16th, 17th, 19th, 20th June
