Fnatic Make Official Announcement That They Will Part Ways With Current Roster After PMPL

• Fnatic make official announcement regarding roster changes following PMPL.
• The announcement comes after months of mediocre results and lack of synergy between the players resulting in frequent public outbursts. 

After months of unsatisfactory results, flare ups, public shouting matches and bad blood between the players, Fnatic has decided that they will be letting go of their roster after PMPL South Asia. The current roster will continue to play for the foreseeable future as the PMPL matches will last till 14th of June, but the team will announce a new roster after that. What is interesting is that there is a possibility that the team qualifies through to the World League stage, in which case the team will have to retain some existing players to keep their spot. 

In an official statement, the organization mentioned that the time has come for change and the team will be looking to reveal a new lineup post PMPL. Although the announcement is big for the entire Indian esports landscape, it can hardly be called surprising as the players have been hinting at going their separate ways for a few days now. In a recent stream Scout revealed that Owais will be registering with a different squad for PMIS or the PUBG MOBILE India Series. This roster would involve Owais, Franky, Paritosh and another player. Scout himself has maintained that he too will be playing with a different lineup. However, Scout also did mention that he will continue to be friends with Owais and respect him, but the time has come to move on professionally. 

We look back at the past months as some of the most proud and important ones in Black and Orange history. We marked the start of our journey in India.
During this time, we've seen some fantastic players carry the Fnatic crest on their chest. Some moments have been incredible, some less so. But, at the end of the day, we can proudly say that there are now tens of thousands of fans supporting this organisation and the players who are signed to us.
With that, all great stories come with challenges, and sometimes we have to make changes in order for each and every player to prosper and become the best they can be. So, it is with both sadness and excitement that we announce that the PMPL will be our last dance with the current lineup. One final ride with the boys who started this journey. This lineup will always be an Emotion. We've got nothing but love for each of the players. But, as in many walks of life, the paths of individuals cross impermanently.As the PMPL concludes, we will reveal the changes—we hope to see all of you there. We understand that this might upset some of you. But, for 15 years at Fnatic, we've created great talent, built fantastic teams and we can still remember every single one whose path crossed with ours. That is why our hashtag is more than a hashtag, it's a mantra.

Whether Fnatic retains any of their players remains to be seen, and the organization might look to rebuild the roster around one or two of their existing players. However, the org has made one thing very clear and it is the fact that they will be continuing their PUBG MOBILE journey in India. Although the current iteration of the team is coming to an end, it feels like this is the right decision as despite many attempts and months of trying the players haven’t been able to figure out a way to work together. Call it different play styles or different mindsets, the team’s lack of synergy has been quite apparent and quite public for the most part and although each one of them have impressed individually, as a team they have lot to be desired. Let's hope that the current team can work together and go out with a bang and the organization can pick up an explosive lineup to represent them.
