PMPL SEA Final - Yoodo Gank Finish Day 1 on Top; RRQ Athena Close Behind

• Day 1 of the PMPL SEA Finals comes to and end. 
• Yoodo Gank, RRQ Athena and KoG take the lead at the top of the table. 

Day 1 of the PMPL SEA Finals saw Yoodo Gank, RRQ Athena and King of Gamers Club race off to a 30 point lead at the top of the table. With 5 matches being played out, both Yoodo and KoG picked up wins in two matches while RRQ won the remaining match. All three teams are inseparable at the top, with just 4 points separating the 1st and 3rd team. This is indeed great news for all three sides as all of them have not secure a spot in the World League Finals. 

Meanwhile favorites, Bigetron Red Aliens, are in 4th place after a sub par performance on day 1 which saw them finish in the top 3 in just 1 out of 5 games. The MYSG champions, Team Secret ended the day in 5th place while Thai champions, Illuminate are all the way down in 9th. However, we do have to remember that, Illuminate, Bigetron RA, Team Secret and Box Gaming have already secured their spots in the World League.  

KoG finish the day as the team with the highest frags with 39 kills to their name, while both Yoodo and RRQ sit at 36 each. With 2 more days of action remaining, anything is possible as almost all the teams have proved themselves at a national level and are raring to go in the regional stage. Day 2 will see 5 more maps being played out and hopefully by the end of the day we'll have a clearer picture of which teams will be representing SEA in the World League.
