The League stage of PMPL Indonesia came to an end and there were very little surprises as world champions, Bigetron Red Aliens topped the table with a massive margin. In fact, even if we are to discount their entire sixth week tally of 442 points, the team would still be in first place.

Not only did BTR win the League stage, they did so in dominating fashion, emerging as the best team in all the four weeks. The final gameweek saw the team picking up seven WWCD in 24 games as they also finished in the top 4 a whopping 13 times. What’s even more impressive is the fact that the team averaged over 8 kills during week 4, a figure that quite honestly is mind-blowing.

However, none of this guarantees Bigetron a spot in PMWL East or in the SEA Finals, as the team will still have to play in the PMPL Indonesia finals. Just like PMPL Thailand, the top team in the final stage will get a direct slot in PMWL East while the teams who place second and third will qualify for the SEA Finals. The PMPL Indonesia Finals are set to take place from the 3rd-5th of April.

Joining Bigetron in the final stage will be 15 other teams from the league stage. Aura Esport, Red Rocket Cosmic, BOOM Esports and Morph Team are all strong contenders in the final stage. Bigetron themselves must learn from the Thai teams RRQ and Faze Clan, who dominated the league stage and then fell flat in the finals.
