A N1nja Joins Fnatic India's Roster Prior to PMPL South Asia

After a relatively underwhelming performance in the PMCO India Finals, Fnatic have announced a roster change going into PMPL South Asia. This will be their second roster change since announcing a new lineup in October of 2019.

The team have had their highs and lows since their inception, as they remain one of the most followed teams in the Indian circuit thanks to the names in the roster and the Fnatic tag. When announced over 5 months ago, the roster consisted of ScoutOP, Ronak, Owais, Paritosh and InYoDream. However, since their infamous early exit at the PMCO South Asia Finals, the team brought in Ash instead of InYoDream and also recruited a coach in the form of Pratik ‘Aurum’ Mehra.

Since then, their performance has been much more stable and the team managed to win PUBG Mobile All Stars, in December. Following that, the team has managed to qualify for PMPL South Asia, however, their performance in PMCO India has exposed a lot of flaws and weaknesses in their gameplay. To address this, the organization will be undergoing a roster change, and replacing one player going into what is expected to be extremely tough competition. 

Fnatic’s country head, Nimish Raut shared the news via his socials that Fnatic’s squad for PMPL South Asia will be:

Owais

Ash

N1nja

This of course does mean that Paritosh will not be a part of the squad for the tournament. However, it’s still not clear whether he has indeed left the team or is sitting out of the tournament. Neither the organization nor the organization has put out an official statement regarding Paritosh’s future at the time of writing. 

The new player aka N1nja, is a name that most people are familiar with. He has been playing regularly with the Fnatic squad over the last couple of weeks and its hardly a surprise to see him in the squad.
