One Esports to Host Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Invitational; 150K USD Up For Grabs

SEA based tournament organizer, ONE Esports have announced the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Invitational, a $150,000 tournament for players in SEA. The tournament will be in partnership with the game’s developers, Moonton. 

One Esports has really exploded into the SEA Esports scene, having announced multiple IPs in recent months. From launching their One Esports Dota 2 Pro Invitationals in Singapore and Indonesia to hosting the 1 Million USD One Esports Singapore Major as part of the Dota Pro Circuit this season, the company is making some big strides in the region. 

More recently, the organizers announced their first foray into the world of mobile esports with the MLBB Invitational. With a massive prize pool of 150,000 dollars, this will definitely be one of the premier events for the title in 2020. The event will take place in Jakarta from the 1st to the 5th of July, with online and offline qualifiers preceding it in the month of May.

The country-wise dates for the qualifiers are as follows: 

2-3 May – Indonesia and Singapore

9-10 May – Philippines and Malaysia

16-17 May – Thailand and Laos (combined), and Myanmar

Additionally, offline qualifiers will also be held for some regions, but more details will be available at a later date. 

A total of 12 teams will qualify to the final stage with the winning team walking away with 50,000 USD and the trophy.
