PUBG Mobile India Announces Original Web Series

South Asia is  the number one region when it comes to PUBG Mobile, and the title's massive popularity and success has re-shaped both gaming and esports in the region. Unlike established titles like League of Legends, Counter Strike and Overwatch, which have focused mostly on Western, European and Chinese markets, PUBG Mobile's decision to focus on South Asia has seen them tap into a huge untapped population. 

The web series which will be called 'Dosti ka Naya Maidan' will focus on 5 players from different walks of life and their stories. The episodes will be primarily in Hindi and it will premier on Christmas eve. However, the team will be releasing clips and details of the cast prior to the actual release. A short teaser for the same is already available on YouTube. The web series will be available to watch on YouTube as well as the in-game client.
