Free Fire Asia Invitational - Indian teams unable to perform as Indonesian side, Island of Gods take home the trophy

The 50,000 USD Free Fire Asia Invitational came to an end earlier today as Indonesian squad, Island of Gods were crowned the champions, taking home the winner’s share of 7500 USD. Their consistency across throughout the final day paid off and the team had a commanding lead by the time the tournament came to an end.

Back-to-back wins in the fourth and fifth games of the day along with consistent high placements allowed the team to lift the trophy. Meanwhile, Thailand’s Thonburi Wisdom, who won three out of the 8 games, still finished in second place as they weren’t as consistent as IOG.

The other teams, who managed to pick up a Booyah on the main stage were EVOS MG, Fort Hood and Pinto Gaming. Both the Indian teams had a tough day out on the field as GJ Kings ended the competition in the last place while TSG Army ended up in the second last position. However, this is just the start of competitive Free Fire and with teams and players getting exposure and experience through these competitions, we can expect the level of teams to increase day by day.
