The inaugural League of Legends: Wild Rift Summoner Series North America (NA) Regional Championship 2021 is expected to kick off on 8th Oct 2021. The tournament will last for two days and will feature the top six teams from the three major circuits and two teams from the last chance qualifier. The three major circuits have concluded while the last chance qualifier will kick off on 1st October 2021 and will last until 3rd October. The Wild Rift Summoner Series NA Regional Championship 2021 boasts a prize pool of $70,000 USD. The crowned champions will also have the opportunity to represent North America in the upcoming Wild Rift World Championship 2021.

Wild Rift Summoner Series NA Regional Championship 2021 details

The Wild Rift Summoner Series serves as the official Wild Rift esports circuit for NA. Registered teams competed for a chance to proceed to one of the three major circuits. The top six teams from each qualifier proceeded to the majors where they competed for a slot in the regional championship.

The six qualified teams from the three major circuits have been decided while the remaining teams will still have a chance at redemption through the last chance qualifier. Here are the qualified teams for the upcoming Wild Rift Summoner Series NA Regional Championship 2021;

  • Tribe Gaming NA (Major Two)

  • NME (Major Two)

  • Immortals (Major Three)

  • Sentinels (Major Three)

  • Cloud9 (Major Three)

  • Grilled Cheese (Major Three)

The last chance qualifier will kick off on 1st October and will decide the two remaining teams to qualify for the regional championship.

Tournament Format

The regional championship will be held in a double-elimination BO3 format. Matches in the upper bracket finals, lower bracket finals, and the Grand Finals will be settled in a BO5 series.

Prize Pool Distribution

The prize pool distribution for the participating teams in the Wild Rift Summoner Series NA Regional Championship 2021 are as follows;

  • 1st Place - $30,000 USD

  • 2nd Place - $15,000 USD

  • 3rd Place - $10,00 USD

  • 4th Place - $5,000 USD

  • 5th-6th Place - $3,000 USD

  • 7th-8th Place - $2,000 USD
