More information regarding the WCS 2022 has been revealed by Riot Games.
The six local competitive leagues - Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia & Singapore, and Taiwan & Hong Kong, will hold their own regional events to determine who will proceed to the WCS 2022 Finals.
The top four teams in the WCS 2022 will represent the SEA region in the upcoming Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022.

The stage is set for the upcoming League of Legends: Wild Rift Champions Southeast Asia (WCS) 2022 featuring the best Wild Rift teams in Southeast Asia (SEA) competing for the championship title. The six local competitive leagues - Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia & Singapore, and Taiwan & Hong Kong, will hold five weeks’ worth of intense matches to determine who shall head to the WCS 2022 Finals. The top four teams in the WCS 2022 will earn their tickets to the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022, which is set to be held in Europe on 12th June.

Wild Rift SEA Champions 2022 details

The WCS 2022 will kick off on 25th Feb across six esports circuits within the SEA. The tournament will feature directly invited teams from the previous season along with teams who qualified through the regional qualifiers.

Participating teams from each official league circuit will compete in a BO3 double round-robin in the regular season. The top six teams from the regular season will compete in the playoffs stage through a double-elimination format starting on 1st April until 10th April.

The winning teams from each regional circuit’s playoffs will proceed to the WCS 2022 Finals to determine the top four teams who shall secure their tickets to the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022.
