Wild Rift Protectors of Ionia Event: How to Unlock Karma and Shen for Free
The League of Legends: Wild Rift Protectors of Ionia event has been released alongside the patch 3.1 update. The event will start on 24th March and will last until early April. However, the event shop will stay one week longer than the event duration for players, so that they won’t miss out on the rewards found in the event shop. The Protectors of Ionia event features two new champions - Shen and Karma, which can be unlocked for free during the event period. There will also be in-game resources up for grabs such as Blue Motes, Poro Energy, emotes, profile borders, Baubles, Champion Poses, and more.
Wild Rift Protectors of Ionia Event details
To welcome the next major patch update in Wild Rift, a new event featuring the two new champions has been added to the game.
The Wild Rift Protectors of Ionia event will last from 24th March until 10th April. However, the event shop will remain open until 20th April for players to exchange their tokens for rewards.
Event Missions
Players can only unlock one mission at a time. Players will need to complete each mission in order to unlock the next one.
Bonus Mission
Completing all of the main missions will unlock a bonus mission that can be completed recurringly.
Points carry over between games, so if players have 11 points and complete a Ranked or Normal PVP match, the repeatable mission will refresh with 2 points already accounted for. Additionally, this mission can only be completed a maximum of 33 times.
Event Token Shop
The event shop will last a week longer than the event. Players can exchange the tokens they earned from completing event missions to acquire numerous in-game prizes.
Players can unlock both Karma and Shen in the event if they earn enough tokens along with various event exclusive cosmetics.
Players can look forward to more events in the Wild Rift patch 3.1 cycle as an April Fools event titled Season of Silly has also been teased and is expected to arrive soon.
