Wild Rift Ekko's Arrival Event: How to Unlock New Champion for Free

The latest League of Legends (LoL): Wild Rift Patch 3.2 update released a new event titled Ekko’s Arrival, featuring the new champion along with a ton of in-game loot to collect. The event shall last until 22nd May and it tasks players with completing event missions to make progress. Each mission in the Ekko’s Arrival event will reward players with event experience and bonus Blue Motes. Reaching certain milestones will reward players with cosmetics such as a profile icon, bauble, a pose, as well as unlocking the new Wild Rift champion Ekko for free.

To welcome the latest patch update, a new event featuring the new champion has been released.

Ekko is one of the most interesting champions as he can wind back in time with his ultimate skill. Upon activation, he can recover his health and return to his previous location from a few seconds ago, allowing the possibilities for a ton of surprise tactics to catch the enemies off guard.

Aside from his flashy ultimate skill, he can also chase down opponents easily with his wide range of crowd control and dash abilities. This makes him quite the flexible champion that can be played in multiple roles.

The Ekko's Arrival Event will run from 12th May till 22nd May. However, time may vary depending on their region and server so players will have to check the in-game time for more details.

Event Missions

Unlike other events, the Ekko’s Arrival event will not have any time-locked missions. All missions will be open for all players and can be completed at any time until the event concludes. Players can earn a total of 1,000 Blue Motes just by completing all event missions.
