Pokemon UNITE is currently celebrating its 1st anniversary with a major event in which players can acquire numerous rewards. Starting 21st July, six new Pokemon shall be released over the course of the event with three of them already having been revealed. Players can get a sneak peek at the rest of the upcoming Pokemon sometime in September. The Pokemon UNITE 1st Anniversary event shall also be giving away up to five licenses. For players who already own a license for the Pokemon featured, they will instead earn 100 Aeos Coins. The event shall also give players up to five free Holowears just by logging in on a specific date.

The event starts on 21st July and will offer a plethora of sub-events that players can enjoy.

Six New Pokemon

Pokemon UNITE 1st Anniversary Event: six new Pokemons coming soon

For now, only three Pokemon have been revealed. Here are the release dates of the three;

  • Glaceon - 21st July

  • Buzzwole - 3rd Aug

  • Tyranitar - 15th Aug

Through the ongoing Icy Glaceon Challenge, players can acquire the Pokemon license for free. The event shall last until 14th Aug.

Free Pokemon License Log-in Bonus

This event is very straightforward. Players will only need to log in consecutively for five days in order to unlock up to five Pokemon.

  • Day 1 - Pikachu

  • Day 2 - Lucario

  • Day 3 - Blastoise

  • Day 4 - Snorlax

  • Day 5 - Sylveon

If a player already owns one of the free licenses, they shall acquire 100 Aeos coins instead.

Free Holowear Log-in Bonus

Pokemon UNITE 1st Anniversary Event: Login to get free Holowears

From 21st July until 12th October, players can acquire numerous free Holowears by simply logging into the game.

  • Day 1: Fashionable Style: Pikachu

  • Day 2: Concert Style: Lucario

  • Day 3: Firefighter Style: Blastoise

  • Day 4: Bedtime Style: Snorlax

  • Day 5: Checkered Style: Sylveon

If a player already owns one of the free Holowears, they shall acquire 100 Aeos coins instead.

Anniversary Cake Challenge

Pokemon UNITE 1st Anniversary Event: Collect two free Holowears

The event shall run from 21st July to 1st September. Players are tasked with collecting cake frostings through logging in, playing matches, and completing event missions to earn two Holowears; Tuxedo Style: Cramorant and Tuxedo Style: Crustle.

New Game Mode Boss Rush

This new Player Versus Environment (PvE) event tasks players with defeating Boss Pokemon and earning points for rewards. There shall be three periods for when the battles will be available;

  • First: 21st July – 24th July

  • Second: 31st July – 7th August

  • Third: 14th August – 21st August

Invite a Friend to win free rewards

Players can invite friends who haven’t yet played Pokemon UNITE and get various rewards. Invited players stand a chance to unlock the Bonfire Style: Slowbrow Holowear after playing a certain number of ranked matches.

Returning Trainer Support Event

Players who return to the game after being inactive for quite some time shall receive a special event where they can earn numerous rewards.
