Mobile Legends Aamon: Abilities, Release Date, Price, What We Know So Far
The new Mobile Legends: Bang Bang hero Aamon will be released on 26th Oct 2021. The new hero will arrive in the game amidst the Halloween event, titled Trickster’s Eve. Aamon is an assassin-type hero that uses throwing weapons called Malefic Blades. The blades mark enemies that are hit and amplify his damage. His abilities have been revealed in the advanced server of Mobile Legends and have received constant gameplay adjustments to prepare him for the official release.
Upcoming Mobile Legends hero Aamon details
According to the in-game lore, Aamon is the brother of one of the most popular assassin heroes in the game, Gusion. The fact that they have slightly similar gameplay, which is throwing knives or blades at enemies, truly makes them feel related to each other.
Aamon will be released in Mobile Legends on 26th October 2021 and will cost 32,000 Battle Points or 599 Diamonds.
His signature weapons are floating knives called Malefic Blades. These blades transform into Demonic Blades whenever they hit an enemy and also improve Aamons combat capabilities.
Abilities
Passive: Invisible Armor
When Aamon uses a regular skill, he generates Malefic Blades that can absorb and condense the enemy's magic into a Demonic Blade on hit. Absorbing the Demonic Blades will grant him temporary invisibility and bonus movement speed. His next attack will increase his basic attack damage and end the invisibility effect.
Skill 1: Soul Blades
Aamon flings a Malefic Blade at enemies, dealing damage and marking them. Aamon then summons five more blades that randomly lock onto nearby enemies to deal damage.
Skill 2: Slayer Blades
Aamon flings Malefic Blades forward dealing damage to enemies and immediately converts the blades into Demonic Blades. The blades then return to Aamon, immediately activating his passive ability.
Ultimate Skill: Endless Blades
Aamon converts his energy into Malefic Blades and flings them to nearby enemies to deal damage. The damage increases based on the enemies' missing HP up to a maximum of 150% bonus damage when enemies’ HP is below 30%.
Considering how Aamon does not have crowd control abilities, it will be a bit tricky to chase down opponents all by yourself. However, once you lock on to a target, he can be very devastating with the right combo. Needless to say, Aamon will require a team that offers crowd control abilities to compensate for his lack of countermeasures against high mobility heroes.
It will be interesting to see if the upcoming Mobile Legends hero Aamon shakes up the meta.
