Apex Legends Mobile is set to launch next week and fans are excited to try out all of the characters that are in the game. The progression path for unlocking legends is very different on the mobile version of the game and there are no Legend Tokens for you to earn. If you want to unlock all legends in Apex Legends mobile, you need to level up your account or purchase them with Syndicate Gold. Not all legends will be available at launch with characters like Horizon and Valkyrie missing from the roster. Here is a quick guide on how to unlock all legends in Apex Legends Mobile.

How to unlock legends in Apex Legends Mobile

It is very frustrating to unlock legends on the PC and console version of Apex Legends if you have not been playing for a long time. While veterans have access to hundreds of thousands of Legend Tokens, it is difficult for newer players to keep up with the legend releases every season as there is a sizeable cast of characters to unlock. Thankfully, Respawn Entertainment has addressed the issue by tying legend unlocks in Apex Legends Mobile to your account level.

You can unlock a lot of legends just by leveling up your account to Level 14. Other legends can be purchased for Syndicate Gold or by leveling up the battle pass as free rewards.

  • Bloodhound – Unlocked from the beginning

  • Bangalore – Unlocked at Level 2

  • Lifeline – Unlocked at Level 3

  • Pathfinder – Unlocked at Level 4

  • Gibraltar – Unlocked at Level 5

  • Wraith – Unlocked at Level 14

  • Octane – Can be Purchased for 700 Syndicate Gold

  • Mirage – Can be Purchased for 700 Syndicate Gold

  • Caustic – Unlocked via the Battle Pass at Level 25 as a Free Reward

You can quickly level up your account by securing high placement in the battle royale mode and by playing with other players for an XP boost. By Level 14, you should have access to six legends and if you get the first battle pass to level 25, you will get access to Caustic.

What’s concerning is that Octane and Mirage are available for Syndicate Gold which is a premium currency that you need to pay for. In the PC and console version of the game, it is possible to earn premium currency (Apex Coins) by completing the battle pass.

It is currently unknown if there will be an alternate method of unlocking the two legends or if you will get access to Syndicate Gold from the battle pass to unlock your favorite legends. With the game coming out on 17th May, we are just two days away from finding out how Respawn will allow free-to-play players to unlock the legends locked behind Syndicate Gold.
