The debut edition of the Free Fire Pro League (FFPL) India 2021 Summer is barely more than a week away, all set to take place from June 26 to July 18. The tournament will witness 18 of the best Free Fire teams from across India compete for a total prize pool of INR 35,00,000 ($47,842 approx). With the Free Fire Cup (FFC Mode) coming to an end, which was nothing but the open qualifiers for the tournament. The League Circuit is now ready to kick start from June 26 onwards, coming to an end on July 11, following which the Grand Finals will directly take place on July 18.

FFPL India 2021 Summer - Teams

A total of 18 Free Fire teams will be participating in this tournament. As per the structure of the Indian Free Fire 2021 competitive circuit, the top 12 teams from Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Spring which took place earlier this year will be directly making their way into the League Circuit.

The remaining 6 teams will be making their way through the FFC Mode, which is nothing but the open qualifiers for this tournament. With the qualifiers coming to an end and Free Fire having conducted its verification, the final 18 teams which will be participating in this tournament are as follows,

FFPL India 2021 Summer - Format

The tournament initially started with the FFC Mode Qualifiers which took place from June 1-4. A total of six teams made their way through this open qualifier and into the League Circuit. Here they were joined by 12 directly invited teams and together these 18 competitors formed the League Circuit, ready to go up against each other from June 26 to July 11.

For this stage, the 18 participants were divided into three groups of six teams each, set to play a total of six matches spread across three weekends, with the top 12 teams further qualifying for the Grand Finals.

The Grand Finals is scheduled to take place on July 18, with a total of six matches being played on the same day. The team leading the points table at the conclusion of the last match will be the champion of FFPL India 2021 Summer.

Not only this, the top six teams in the Grand Finals will additionally qualify for Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Fall, while the teams ranked 7^th-12^th will be qualifying for FFIC 2021 Fall - Closed Qualifier.

FFPL India 2021 Summer - Schedule

The League Circuit taking place from June 26 to July 11 will see the 18 teams going up against each other across three weekends. The scheduled of this stage of the tournament is as follows,

• Round 1: June 26 | 18:00 IST | Group A and Group B

• Round 2: June 27 | 18:00 IST | Group B and Group C

• Round 3: July 03 | 18:00 IST | Group A and Group C

• Round 4: July 04 | 18:00 IST | Group A and Group B

• Round 5: July 10 | 18:00 IST | Group B and Group C

• Round 6: July 11 | 18:00 IST | Group A and Group C

The top 12 teams from the last stage of the tournament will further qualify for the Grand Finals scheduled to take place on July 18. A total of six matches will be played on this day starting from 18:00 (IST).

FFPL India 2021 Summer - Prize Pool

The total prize pool of INR 35,00,000 ($47,842 approx) will only be divided between the 12 Free Fire teams that make it all the way to the Grand Finals. Along with this, the teams will also get a chance to qualify for the FFIC 2021 Fall which will be taking place later this year.

All the Free Fire matches which are a part of this tournament be it the League Circuit or the Grand Finals, will be broadcasted live across both Free Fire Esports India's Facebook and YouTube channels. Along with this the tournament will also be streamed on BOOYAH!.
