No official date has yet been released but a release window of spring 2024 is anticipated for the release.

Fans all over the world have been anticipating the release of Call of Duty Warzone Mobile for a long time now. Earlier, Activision promised a release date in 2023 but could fulfill this promise for only a few select regions. So, while it is testing out the waters in these regions, others are left in the dark, wondering when they’ll get to experience the brand new Warzone battlefield.

Well, Activision has announced that it’s taking its sweet time before releasing the game and the date has been pushed to next year. While we don’t have any particular date to point to, players can expect a release window during spring 2024. The devs want to undergo a final refinement and polishing of the game before it is globally released everywhere.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile: Release Date

The global release of Warzone Mobile is scheduled for the spring of 2024. Despite this delay, a limited release has already occurred in select regions, including Australia, Chile, Norway, and Sweden. This serves as an opportunity for Activision to gather valuable player feedback, conduct bug fixes, and stress-test the game in real-world scenarios.

Co-studio head Chris Plummer put our anticipation to rest when he said, “We have a few more things we want to polish up before we release around the world in spring of 2024.” This means players in other regions will have to wait for some time while things get into order.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile: Game Features and Maps

Activision aims to provide a new experience for fans with this game. It has also been revealed that, this time, the game will feature over 120 player lobbies at the same time. While this comes as a surprise for many, since this is a mobile game, it is nonetheless an appreciated gesture. The game will also feature a shared battle pass as well as cross-progression with other iterations like Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2 and the newly released Modern Warfare 3.

Warzone Mobile introduces many game modes which have previously been seen in its PC and console counterparts.

  • Battle Royale (Solo, Duos, Trios, and Quads)

  • Resurgence (Solo, Duos, Trios, and Quads)

This diverse set of modes allows players to tailor their Warzone Mobile experience to their preferred playstyle, ranging from solo adventures to team-based challenges.

This is a promising Activision game that has collaborated with various studios to provide the best gaming experience to players. These include its new internal mobile team, Solid State Studios and other reputed studios like Digital Legends, Beenox, Activision Shanghai, and Demonware.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile: Maps

Beloved maps like Verdansk and Rebirth Island from the game's original version are also making a comeback here. Furthermore, additional maps will also be included in the future.

At the time of release, Warzone Mobile will feature Verdansk, allowing players to explore classic Points of Interest (POIs) like Downtown, Super Store, and Dam. Previously featured familiar elements will also be scattered across Verdansk. These include Buy Stations, Gulag, and Contracts, providing players with a nostalgic and immersive experience.

The global anticipation for the game continues to build as fans inch closer to 2024. While no official dates have been set as of now, we are sure that Activision will soon put our speculations to rest.
