Learning various breathing styles in Demon Slayer: Midnight Sun requires you to complete numerous steps and gather various items, some of which can be pretty daunting, as the game does not guide you through them. Although this adds a layer of challenge, it can quickly become frustrating as it stops you from making any progress on your Demon Slayer adventures. How to Get the Moon Essence in Demon Slayer: Midnight Sun
Becoming a Moon Breathing user in Midnight Sun requires you to reach a certain rank and defeat numerous bosses. However, the game also places an emphasis on collecting the Moon Essence before you can proceed further.
However, you might find yourself in a bit of a pickle as the game does not paint a clear picture of where you can find this item. Players can get access to Moon Essence once they start defeating Ultra or Elite Demons. Although you can find these demons across the map at night, you will consistently spot them near the Flame Trainer, Demon Temple, and the Excavation Site. You will need to collect a total of 7 Moon Essences to unlock Moon Breathing.
If you are confident enough, you can also attempt to defeat Shura, the Rotten Blade who is one of the deadliest bosses in-game. You will find him at the Crimson Sanctum right after entering the Fog Gate. Upon successfully defeating him, he will drop Moon Essence and another item called Shura’s Eye which can help you get an in-game armor called the “Demonic Haori”.
Furthermore, you can also attempt to take on Aloc, the Ancient Demon to obtain the Moon Essence as well as increase your chances of becoming a Hybrid. Make sure you tag up with your friends or other players while dealing with such bosses unless you are looking for an extremely brutal challenge.
