Who is Gallagher in Honkai: Star Rail? Hoyoverse Reveals New 4-Star Abundance Character

Gallagher is an upcoming playable character in Honkai Star Rail who is set to arrive in version 2.1 of Honkai: Star Rail. He is a Fire character who treads on the Path of Abunance so expect him to offer healing to his allies. Unlike Natasha and Lynx, early leaks suggest that he is an offensive support who has synergies with break damage. Here's a quick look at everything we know about Gallagher in Honkai: Star Rail so far.

Gallagher in Honkai: Star Rail: Early Kit Leaks

The beta for Honkai: Star Rail 2.1 has not commenced yet so we do not have an accurate look at his kit yet but there are some leaks floating around from credible sources like dimbreath that give us early tidbits. Here's what we know so far.

Ultimate:

Gallagher's Ultiamte puts debuffs on enemies that increase Break Damage taken by enemies. His Eidolon 2 also increases the Break Damage scaling based on debuff count and his Eidolon 4 makes Breaks last longer and deals additional damage.

Breaks also enhance his basic attacks and his Eidolon 1 gives him extra turns, presumed to be upon breaking enemies. When his Ultimate debuff is active, Attackers are healed by a percentage of Gallagher's ATK stat.

If Gallagher is the one attacking broken enemies, then he does an enhanced basic attack instead and heals all allies. Enhanced basic attacks redues the enemy ATK for a limited number of turns. He also has enhanced healing for low HP allies from one of his traces.

His final Eidolon increases weakness break efficiency and break damage but we do not know if this effect applies to just Gallagher or all allies. Initial leaks suggest that Gallagher is an offensive support similar to Fire Trailblazer and if his solo sustaining capabilities are good, he might displace the likes of March 7th and Natasha as a free-to-play friendly sustain unit.
