Should You Pull for Jingliu During Her Rerun in Honkai: Star Rail 2.1?

Jingliu is set to return later this month after Acheron's banner ends in Honkai Star Rail 2.1 and if you are wondering if you should pull for the Ice DPS, here's a quick breakdown of her kit and an analysis of her pull value in the current meta. Do note that if you like Jingliu as a character for any reason whether it be for gameplay, voice acting or visual design, do not let anyone stop you from getting her. She is an excellent unit for both new and old players and is definitely worth your Stellar Jade if you don't have a couple of hypercarry DPS units on your account.

Jingliu's Pull Value in Honkai: Star Rail 2.1

When Jingliu first debuted, she was hailed as the best DPS in the game and things have changed a little since then. Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae got a massive boost in power thanks to the arrival of Sparkle, which boosted his power level tremendously. We also have Acheron, who is regarded as the best DPS in the game provided you build around her kit. So where does Jingliu lie in the current meta?

Jingliu is still an overpowered DPS unit who can brute force any element. There are instances of players 0-cycling Floor 12 against enemies with 40% Ice RES which is just impressive. If you already have multiple hypercarries and do not have 5-star sustain units at all, then Aventurine might be more valuable of a pickup for your account.

Jingliu is still arguably the best Destruction DPS unit in the game because of how easy she is to build. She gets a free 50% Crit Rate during her enhanced skill and is very easy to build compared to any other Crit DPS in the game.

Since her release, she got access to Sparkle and Ruan Mei, top tier units who can pair with Jingliu. Currently Bronya/Sparkle and Ruan Mei are Jingliu's best supports and for your fourth slot you can run Huohuo for her attack buff and energy regeneration or Fu Xuan for her crit buffs.

Even if you don't have 5-star supports, all you need is a Pela and Tingyun to clear all content with Jingliu. She has access to extremely good free-to-play light cone options with On The Fall of An Aeon (Herta shop light cone) being one of her best options.

One important thing to note is that Jingliu and Acheron use completely different supports, so if you got Acheron recently, Jingliu is a great pickup as she will not contest Acheron's supports and vice-versa. You can pair your strongest Harmony units with Acheron and pair the Nihility units you have with Acheron and have two solid hypercarry teams.

Should You Get Jingliu?

If you don't have enough DPS units on your account, Jingliu is worth picking up. She has gotten stronger with the release of Ruan Mei and is easily one of the top three hypercarries in the game alongside Acheron and Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae.
