Kafka Honkai Star Rail Version 4.1: Best Relics and Planar Ornaments

Kafka in Honkai Star Rail (HSR) is one of the most popular playable characters in the game. During her initial release, she didn’t have good options for Relics and was stuck with the Band of Sizzling Thunder set which was not optimal for her kit. With the recent Honkai Star Rail version 4.1 update, Kafka received a major upgrade as she now has multiple sets that she can equip to maximize her potential. The new Relics and Planar Ornaments added in the recent update further amplify her damage as the team’s DoT (Damage Over Time) carry.

Best Kafka Relics for Honkai Star Rail version 4.1

Prisoner in Deep Confinement 

For the relics, the two new additions work perfectly on Kafka. The Prisoner in Deep Confinement set is the general set for her as it can reduce an enemy’s DEF status up to 18%. It is also a known fact that stacking way too much DMG status on a character is counterproductive and will result in diminishing returns. It is advisable to also invest in enemy debuff effects.

If you have enough ATK and DMG amplifiers on Kafka in HSR, consider equipping the Prisoner in Deep Confinement Relic set. 

The Ashblazing Grand Duke

Due to how Kafka’s follow-up attack works in Honkai Star Rail, she can easily take advantage of The Ashblazing Grand Duke Relic set. This set stacks ATK by 6% for each instance of damage the enemy receives from the equipping character’s follow-up attack. This means this Relic set is perfect for multi-hit attacks, just like Kafka’s follow-up attack which can hit a target six times for a guaranteed 36% ATK increase.

If you lack the ATK stats on Kafka, consider having this Relic set. However, keep in mind that investing in DEF reduction effects is also viable for DoT teams.

Best Kafka Planar Ornaments for Honkai Star Rail 4.1

Firmament Frontline: Glamoth

Considering you have a signature Light Cone for Kafka in Honkai Star Rail, the Firmament Frontline: Glamoth is worth farming. Her Light Cone “Patience Is All You Need” increases her speed for each attack she makes, stacking to three times. This means you can easily reach the 135 or 160 requirement from this Planar Ornament.

Even if you can only reach the bare minimum of 135 SPD stat, this can still be viable as a 12% DMG buff is still a good damage boost.

Space Sealing Station

This Planar Ornament was Kafka’s BIS (Best-in-Slot) before the release of the Honkai Star Rail 4.1 update. This provides a 12% ATK boost but provides an additional 12% ATK boost if you have at least 120 SPD.  

If you are quite unlucky with acquiring decent SPD stats on your Relics, consider having this Planar Ornament first before switching to Firmament Frontline: Glamoth when you have enough SPD on Kafka. But if you can reach at least 135 SPD, consider farming for the new Planar Ornament as it is the best equipment for her.

Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise

If you struggle to get enough Effect Hit Rate on Kafka in Honkai Star Rail, consider farming for the Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise. This relic provides a 10% Effect Hit Rate while also providing bonus ATK equal to 25% of your current Effect Hit Rate.

Keep in mind that Kafka can easily stack up on Effect Hit Rate simply by upgrading her Traces so this Planar Ornament is not recommended.
