Hoyoverse hosted its livestream for Honkai Star Rail’s patch 1.6 on 15th December 2023 and things were going smoothly until Dr. Ratio’s voice actor showed up and dropped a bombshell of an announcement. In addition to all of the new content and quality of life changes, players will also receive a free copy of the 4-star Quantum Abundance character ‘Lynx’ and a copy of Dr. Ratio, a limited 5-star Imaginary Hunt character.

When Will Dr. Ratio Be Given Out For Free in Honkai Star Rail?
Dr. Ratio’s banner “Panta Rhei” will be available on 15th January (Asia server) and that is when the new character will be given out to all players. Even if you do not play during version 1.6, you can still obtain the character. The offer will be available from 15th January to the end of version 2.1 (late April).
How to Get Dr. Ratio for Free in Honkai Star Rail
Anyone who completed the Trailblaze Mission ‘The Blue — A Moment of Peace’ and unlocked the Mailbox Function, is eligible for a free Dr. Ratio. If you have never played Honkai: Star Rail before, you should be able to complete the mission in less than an hour of playtime.
