Honkai Star Rail 2.0 Will Introduce Two New Relic Sets Designed for Ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio

Ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio might be arriving in Honkai Star Rail’s 1.6 update, but it looks like the two new characters will get their respective best-in-slot (BiS) relic sets in patch 2.0. Two new relic sets have been datamined that work with Ruan Mei’s Break Effect and Dr. Ratio’s debuff-based bonuses. If you are planning to gear up either character, it might be worth it to wait a little longer until these two sets drop.
Honkai Star Rail 2.0 New Relic Set Details
Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters
The Pioneer Diver or Dead Waters seems like a great option for Dr. Ratio as he requires you to have multiple debuffs on enemies to boost his personal damage. The set can also work well on other characters like Kafka in case you go for a CRIT build.
If you want to take advantage of this relic set, you want to have someone like Topaz, Guinaifen or Silver Wolf on the team to take advantage of the 4-piece bonus.
2-Piece Bonus: Increases DMG dealt to enemies with debuff by 12%.
4-Piece Bonus: Increases CRIT Rate by 4%. The wearer's attacks against enemies with at least 2/4 debuffs deal 8%/12% CRIT DMG. Upon inflicting a debuff on an enemy, this skill's CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG bonuses are doubled for 1 turn(s).
Watchmaker, Master of Dream Machinations
The Watchmaker set is an upgrade from the Thief of Shooting Meteor if you do not need the Thief Set’s energy bonuses. For Ruan Mei, you can get a massive 40% total Break Effect, which can help her achieve her optimal breakpoint of 180% Break Effect.
The set might work well on a Break Effect Silver Wolf as well as other future Break Effect characters. The only downside of farming this relic set is that you can get the Thief Set easily by clearing the Echo of War every week, so you might already have a great Break Effect set.
2-Piece Bonus: Increases Break Effect by 16%.
4-Piece Bonus: When the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally, Break Effect for all allies increases by 24% for 2 turn(s). This effect cannot be stacked.
If you want either of these relic sets, we recommend stockpiling some Trailblaze power or Fuel before patch 2.0 drops so you can get a bunch of these relics on day one of the upcoming patch.
