The Honkai Star Rail 1.6 update is approaching its release date of 27th December. Titled "Crown of the Mundane and Divine," the update is set to bring a wave of fresh content and significant optimizations to enhance the gaming experience for Trailblazers. In the recently released Voice of the Galaxy Vol. 6 blog post, the developers at Hoyoverse detailed various features and improvements that players can look forward to. Daily Training Optimizations
One of the standout changes in version 1.6 is the expansion of Daily Training activities from six to eight. This provides players with more flexibility in choosing their preferred tasks. This will allow Trailblazers to tailor their daily routine according to their preferences.
Mission Overhaul in Nameless Honor
In response to player feedback, the "Today's Mission" section in Nameless Honor is being removed. , "This Week's Missions" are being revamped into stackable quests, offering up to 4900 Nameless EXP. These adjustments aim to streamline the mission structure for a better experience.
Introducing Tears of Dreams: A Universal Path Material
A noteworthy addition to the material system is the Tears of Dreams. This is a new universal Path material that can replace Path and Trace materials. This new resource simplifies the process of unlocking Traces and ascending Light Cones. Different rarities of materials will consume varying amounts of Tears of Dreams. Hoyoverse is even gifting 150 Tears of Dreams to Trailblazers through in-game mail.
Improved Challenge Stages and Navigation System
Version 1.6 introduces a time-limited optimization to challenge stages. The update will allow Trailblazers to access Ascension Materials and Trace Materials domains for any character from the Interastral Peace Guide before unlocking the corresponding stages.
Navigating through Warring Expedition and Exploratory Excursion will become more accessible. This feature enables players to follow routes within these areas and reduce the chances of getting lost during exploration.
Enhanced Enemy Info Display and Other Notable Changes
The Enemy Info display page receives a change, providing Trailblazers with more detailed information about opponents. This includes abilities, stories, and resistances. This improvement enhances strategic planning before engaging in battle.
Several other improvements have been implemented, including an increase in the team setup limit to nine. Trailblaze Missions will see adjustments in difficulty and level requirements. The "Tales of the Fantastic" event will move over to Conventional Memoir, allowing players to play old limited-time events.
