Honkai Star Rail 1.2: Kafka Ascension Materials and Pre-Farming Guide

Kafka is set to debut in Honkai Star Rail patch 1.2 and is one of the most anticipated characters in the game. She is a damage dealer who relies on Damage over Time (DoT) effects and can also extend DoT effects of other team members. If you are planning to pull for her and want to start pre-farming for her, here is a rundown of all of Kafka’s ascension materials that you can prepare before her banner drops in Honkai Star Rail 1.2.

Honkai Star Rail 1.2 - Kafka Ascension Materials 

These are all of the materials that you need to farm for Kafka for unlocking her ascension levels.

• x15 Thief's Instinct

• x15 Usurper's Scheme

• x15 Conqueror’s Will

• x65 Shape Shifter’s Lightning Staff

• 308,000 Credits

Unlocking all six ascensions will grant you a total of three regular Star Rail Passes which you can use on the Standard banner.

In addition to all of these, you need 12 drops from Vantelia, the Undying which is a new weekly boss that will be available in patch 1.2.

Honkai Star Rail 1.2 - Kafka relics

You want to farm a Band of Sizzling Thunder as your primary 4-piece set for Kafka. It gives her Lightning Damage bonus and also boosts her attack.

Band of Sizzling Thunder

2-Piece Bonus: Increases Lightning DMG by 10%.

4-Piece Bonus: When the wearer uses Skill, increases the wearer's ATK by 25% for 1 turn(s).

The Band of Sizzling Thunder relic set is Kafka’s go-to set and you should focus on Crit stats and Effect Hit Rate as much as possible.

For your 2-piece set (Planar Ornaments), here are our recommendations: 

Inert Salsotto

2-Piece Bonus: Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 50% or higher, the wearer's Ultimate and follow-up attack DMG increases by 15%.

Celestial Differentiator

2-Piece Bonus: Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 16%. When the wearer's current CRIT DMG reaches 120% or higher, after entering battle, the wearer's CRIT Rate increases by 60% until the end of their first attack.
