New Characters Navia and Chevreuse Revealed in Genshin Impact 4.3 Drip Marketing
Genshin Impact has become well-known for its intriguing marketing tactics that slowly unveil new characters and content ahead of major updates. In the latest development, HoYoverse has officially introduced two new characters, Navia and Chevreuse, who will be making their debut in the upcoming 4.3 update of the game. Here's what we know so far.
Navia - The Geo 5-Star Character
Navia is set to be a highly-anticipated addition to Genshin Impact. Players were first introduced to her in version 4.0's Archon quest, and since then, they have eagerly awaited her official debut. In version 4.3, Navia will take her place as a 5-star Geo character.
Element: Geo
The character's backstory hints at a connection to the champion duelist from Fontain, Clorinda, adding an extra layer of intrigue to her persona.
A snippet from the drip marketing provides insight into her character: "When we were young, we used to play a kind of tabletop game where she would be the adventurer and I the host. Playing things by ear has always come naturally to me — but all the same, I was often stumped by her decisions and the ripostes she came out with. But then again, that's what made it so interesting.
Chevreuse - The Pyro 4-Star Character
Chevreuse, the captain of the Security and Surveillance Patrol, is another exciting addition to Genshin Impact. What sets her apart is that she hasn't made an appearance in any archons or side quests until now. Her debut in version 4.3 is eagerly anticipated by the game's community.
Element: Pyro
A conversation between Captain Grosrochard of the Gardes and Captain Chevreuse sheds light on her character: "...Captain Chevreuse, once again I implore you, we must tighten up the Special Security and Surveillance Patrol's entry requirements."
As of now, the official release date for these characters' banners in Genshin Impact 4.3 remains undisclosed. However, players can look forward to their arrival in this upcoming version of the game.
In the meantime, Genshin Impact players have other exciting content to explore, with version 4.2 releasing on November 8, featuring Furina, Baizhu, Cyno, Ayato, and their respective signature weapons.
