According to a report by Game World Observer, the Hurun Research Institute recently released its sixth annual Global Unicorn Index, which ranks private companies and startups valued at least $1 billion. The index includes companies founded in the 2000s that are not yet listed on public exchanges. miHoYo's valuation of $23 billion places it 12th on the list, between Citadel Securities and Telegram. This marks a significant climb for miHoYo, which has jumped 91 positions from the previous year when its market cap was $7.2 billion.
The ranking also includes other companies in the gaming industry, such as Niantic, Dream11, and Haegin. However, miHoYo stands out as the highest-valued privately-owned gaming company on the list.
