Genshin Impact’s Version 4.5 is right around the corner. And while it is being called a “filler patch” by fans, similar to how it was with 4.3, there is still some interesting new content in the game. From the newest addition to the game’s roster of 5-star characters to the new Chronicled Wish Banner. Here's an overview of everything you can expect from the upcoming Genshin Impact 4/5 update.
Genshin Impact Version 4.5 Release Date
Genshin Impact Version 4.5 is scheduled to be released on 13th March 2024. This aligns with the game's usual patch schedule of a new update every six weeks, following the start of Version 4.4 on January 31.
Genshin Impact Version 4.5 Banners
Version 4.5 will introduce a new character and weapon through its banners. The update will feature a new limited banner character named Chiori, a Geo Sword user. Joining Chiori in the banners are characters like Neuvillette, Itto, and Kazuha. The banners will be released in two phases:
Phase 1:
Characters: Chiori and Itto
Weapons: Uraku Misugiri (Sword) and Redhorn Stonethresher (Claymore)
Phase 2:
Characters: Neuvillette and Kazuha
Weapons: Tome of the Eternal Flow (Catalyst) and Freedom-Sworn (Sword)
New Chronicled Wish
Version 4.5 will introduce a new type of banner called the Chronicled Wish. This banner will feature multiple characters and weapons. This banner will offer a path system similar to the weapon banner, allowing players to target specific characters and weapons.
New Quest and Story Details
While Version 4.5 may not feature significant story additions or expansions, players can look forward to a Story Quest for Chiori and a Hangout Quest for Lynette. These quests will provide additional lore and character development for players to enjoy.
Quality of Life Updates
Version 4.5 will also bring several quality-of-life changes. These include a new in-game training guide feature that provides details on character builds, a new graphical setting for "Highest" graphics, and the ability to view required talent materials in the talent interference menu.
Events and Rewards
Genshin Impact Version 4.5 will introduce a variety of events for players to participate in. These include:
Alchemical Ascension: Assist Lisa and the Knights of Favonius in promoting alchemy achievements to earn rewards.
The Great Fayz Reaction Debate: Help Jami, the Amurta researcher, verify his work on the Fayz Potion for rewards.
Feline Fortress Furrdyssey: Join Paimon in visiting The Cat's Tail in Mondstadt for a fun event involving cats.
Rolling Crossfire: Participate in firing experiments with a new remote cannon created by the Gardes.
These events will offer players the chance to earn Primogems, Mora, and other upgrade resources.
