Genshin Impact has a very neat way of tying in different aspects of the game's lore to world quests and exploration. The Guhua Clan for example is not one players know a whole lot about aside from the fact that it is an old school of martial arts. One of the game's characters, Xinqiu practices the arts of this school. But the game gives us little tidbits about the Guhua Clan through our exploration of Liyue. And the latest in this discovery is in the newly introduced region of Chenyu Vale where players can find the Shrouded Vale, Hidden Hero quest.
How to Unlock the Shrouded Vale, Hidden Hero Quest
To trigger the Shrouded Vale, Hidden Hero quest, players must first navigate through the introductory questline, A Wangshan Walk To Remember. This can be initiated in one of three ways:
Approach the Wangshan Hall: Head to the area south of Mt. Lingmeng and seek out the imposing stone gate of the Wangshan Hall. Knock on its door to signal your readiness for adventure.
Seek Out Wen the Fourth: Alternatively, players can find Wen the Fourth, a key character outside Wangshan Hall. Engage him in conversation to set the quest in motion.
Meet Huang the Third at Yilong Wharf: For those exploring alternative paths, locating Huang the Third at Yilong Wharf offers another entry point into the unfolding narrative.

Exploring Wangshan Hall
Upon gaining entry to Wangshan Hall, courtesy of Huang the Third, you'll have the opportunity to explore its chambers. As you traverse through Wangshan Hall, you'll encounter trials devised by Huang the Third to test your worthiness. From precarious pole-jumping to distinguishing between red and blue dummies, these challenges are whimsical.
Continue your exploration to discover a sacred space adorned with a stone tablet and an intriguing box. Make an offering by placing an apple, summoning a curious squirrel, and investigate the box at your own risk.

Huang the Third's Revelation
Huang the Third's true intentions come to light as players uncover his scheme to preserve the Guhua Clan's legacy through tourist intrigue. Uncover hidden Guhua notes concealed behind a spider's web, and decipher the cryptic secrets they hold. Utilize Elemental Sight to navigate the Arcane Archive and unlock the mysteries within.
Shrouded Vale, Hidden Hero Quest Rewards
Completing the Shrouded Vale, Hidden Hero quest rewards you with 30 Primogems and the coveted Guhua Fish & Lamb Soup recipe. Players also find the first 'Ancient Swordsman’s Inscription.' With the promise of extra rewards and an achievement for those who uncover all five.
