The Genshin Impact Paper Shadows A-Foraging Event is one of the minigames featured in the annual Lantern Rite festivities in the game. The event tasks players with solving theater paper-themed puzzles featuring two iconic characters Guoba and and Yeugui. Completing all puzzles in the Genshin Impact Paper Shadows A-Foraging Event will reward players with plenty of Primogems and a few in-game resources. There are a total of nine puzzles to solve with each giving 20 Primogems.

Paper Shadows A-Foraging Stage 1: Fragrant Mountain Delicacies

The first stage of the Genshin Impact Paper Shadows A-Foraging Event is considered as a tutorial stage for players. The task is simple and only requires guiding Guoba into pushing a wooden crate from above it to open a path.

After pushing the crate down, walk towards the mushroom to collect it and complete the puzzle to obtain the rewards.

Paper Shadows A-Foraging Stage 2: Wandering Fowl Warm and Cool

The second stage requires players to acquire a key first in order to remove the vines that block the path to the key ingredient. However, simply running towards the key will deplete your limited moves.

• Push the crate to the right in order to obtain the key. This will unlock the vine.

• Retrace your path back to the starting point to recover the moves you used.

The third stage of the Paper Shadows A-Foraging event requires players to have a few back-and-forth in order to solve the puzzle;

• Push the crate to the right as far as you can.

• Head back to the starting point to recover your moves.

• Head to the left side and start pushing the crate further to obtain the key.

• Once the vines are removed, you can then retrieve the key ingredient and complete the puzzle.

Paper Shadows A-Foraging Stage 4: Smoky Savoriness

The fourth stage requires players to control both Guoba and Yeugui. Each of them have their own number of moves to use. To complete the puzzle, the two will need to meetup at the square where the key ingredient is located.

• Have Guoba move and push the two boxes in front of Yeugui upwards to clear a path.

• Have Guoba return to the starting point.

• Control Yeugui to retrieve the key

• Control the two and retrieve the key ingredient to complete the puzzle.

Paper Shadows A-Foraging Stage 5: Eight Treasured Flavors

There are three keys to collect in the Paper Shadows A-Foraging Stage 5. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to get all of them and obtain the key ingredient;

• Have Guoba push the crate to the right to obtain the Blue Key.

• Switch to Yeugui and push the box below the starting point and move it above the Red Key.

• Switch to Guoba and push the Box above the Red Key downwards to obtain it and remove the red Vines.

• Switch to Yeugui and go back to the starting point and push the box nearby upwards.

• Head back to the starting point and head upwards to push the box towards the Green Key to remove the Green Vine.

• Have both Guoba and Yeugui retrieve the Key Ingredient to complete the puzzle.

Paper Shadows A-Foraging Stage 6: Intricately Stuffed

The sixth stage requires players to move a lot of boxes around in order to collect all keys and remove the vines;

• Have Yeugui move the nearest box one block to the left.

• Have Guoba move the box down to the Blue Key to obtain it and remove the Blue Vine.

• Have Guoba move a box two blocks on the right.

• Control Yeugui to push the box two blocks downward.

• Have Guoba return to the starting point.

• Move the Box near Yeugui's starting point one block downward.

• Push the box to the right using Yeugui until it is on top of the Red Key.

• Have Guoba Push the box to the right as far as he can before back tracking back to the starting point.

• Have Yeugui push the box to the right until it is at the top of the Red Key.

• Have Yeugui Push the box downward to retrieve the Red Key and remove the Red Vines.

• Move both Guoba and Yeugui retrieve the Key Ingredient to complete the puzzle.

Paper Shadows A-Foraging Stage 7: Glazed Ablaze

In this stage, both Guoba and Yeugui can push eachother's cart as long as there are no obstacles and one of them is riding the cart that needs to be pushed.

• Have Guoba push Yeugui's cart one block to the right.

• Have Yeugui push Guoba's cart one block to the left.

• Control Guoba to retrieve the Blue Key and remove the Blue Vines.

• Have Yeugui move to retrieve the Red Key to remove the Red Vines.

• Move both Guoba push Yeugui to obtain the Key Ingredient and complete the puzzle.

Paper Shadows A-Foraging Stage 8: Slow Steamed Succulent

This Paper Shadows A-Foraging stage is similar to the previous one, except it now includes boxes that needed to be moved.

• Control Yeugui and the nearest box beside Guoba.

• Have Yeugui go back to the starting point.

• Control Guoba and push Yeugui's cart to the left before moving back to the starting point.

• Push the cart to the right using Guoba.

• Use Guoba again to push the box upwards to retrieve the Blue Key and remove the Blue Vines.

• Have Guoba return to the starting point.

• Control Yeugui to retrieve the Red Key and remove the Red Vines.

• Use Yeugui to push Guoba's cart one block down.

• Have both Guoba and Yeugui obtain the Key Ingredient to complete the puzzle.

Paper Shadows A-Foraging Stage 9: Juicy, Just Juicy

The final stage of the Paper Shadows A-Foraging event in Genshin Impact will feature all the mechanics combines into one elaborate puzzle.

• Have Yeugui retrieve the Blue Key to remove the Blue Vines.

• Have Yeugui push Guoba's cart one block to the right.

• Move Yeugui back to the starting point.

• Have Gouba Retrieve the Red Key to remove the Red Vines.

• Control Guoba to push the Box two block downward.

• Have Guoba also push Yeugui's cart one block to the right, beside the nearest box.

• Have Guoba return to the starting point.

• Control Yeugui to push the box to the farthest right to obtain the Green Key and remove the Green Vines.
