Genshin Impact's Version 4.2 is set to bring an exciting challenge to Travelers with a new Spiral Abyss enemy lineup.
Let's dive into the leaked information and what you can expect in version 4.2's Spiral Abyss.

Genshin Impact has consistently updated and increased the challenges in the game’s Spiral Abyss mode, and the upcoming 4.2 version promises to be no exception. As Travelers prepare for the latest Spiral Abyss, leaks have begun to give us a sneak peek into what they can expect. The latest datamines from the third beta version of the upcoming update have revealed details including total HP pools, new enemies, and Blessings of the Abyssal Moon. Let's dive into the latest leaks to prepare you for what's to come in Genshin Impact 4.2's Spiral Abyss.

Genshin Impact 4.2 Spiral Abyss Blessings of the Abyssal Moon

As in previous Spiral Abyss updates, version 4.2 will introduce three Blessings of the Abyssal Moon, each with its unique properties:

  • Waning - Tidal Moon: This blessing activates a shockwave of True DMG if a unit's HP is altered up to 12 times, with a four-second cooldown.

  • Waxing - Uncanny Moon: When an off-field character deals Elemental DMG, they place an Uncanny Mark on an enemy. If another character with the same Element damages that enemy, it triggers a shockwave for True DMG. The Uncanny Marks can last for five seconds, and the shockwave has a two-second cooldown. When a different character becomes active, their associated Uncanny Marks are removed.

  • Waning - Soaring Moon: Upon character switch, they receive a DMG buff of +8%, which can stack up to three times, with a 2.5-second cooldown. When three stacks are achieved, the character automatically triggers a shockwave that deals True DMG to foes, with a one-second cooldown. The amount of True DMG generated depends on the floor and chamber

Total HP Pool

One of the most vital aspects of the Spiral Abyss is the Total HP pool, which often determines the difficulty and combat challenges. According to datamines from the 4.2 beta, Spiral Abyss Floor 12 will boast a staggering Total HP pool of 16,192,819. This figure places it in the fifth position among the highest HP pools for Floor 12 in the game's history. However, it's important to note that these numbers are subject to change as the game's development progresses.

DPS Checks and Challenges

Genshin Impact is known for its DPS checks, and 4.2's Spiral Abyss is no exception. Floors 12-1 and 12-2 set a new benchmark for DPS checks, requiring players to deal an impressive 3,704,894 and 3,682,292 damage, respectively. These are the highest DPS checks in the game to date, which means players will need to bring their A-game to conquer these floors. However, Floor 12-3 provides some relief with a lower DPS requirement of 3,333,513, offering a slight respite compared to its predecessors.

New Enemies in Spiral Abyss

Genshin Impact 4.2's Spiral Abyss also introduces new enemy lineups, primarily on Floor 11 and Floor 12. Here's a glimpse of the challenges that await Travelers:
