Genshin Impact Leaks: 4.6 Event Reruns, New Skins and Event Area in 4.8, and More

With Genshin Impact moving to the second phase of version 4.4, we are seeing early leaks of version 4.8 with several leaks and rumors coming out in the community. Aside from that, we are also seeing leaks of events that will feature in the next version 4.6. The latest leaks include hints of upcoming events in 4.6 and 4.8, a new event area in 4.8, and upcoming character skins. Here’s an overview of the leaks and everything you need to know.
Leaked Details of the 4.8 Events
According to user @white__fx1's leak, a fresh limited-time map will be introduced for the flagship event in version 4.8. This event will feature an exciting lineup of characters, including Emilie, Navia, Nilou, Wanderer, and Kirara. However, fans might be disappointed to learn that Klee is unlikely to make an appearance during this event, breaking the tradition of her presence in previous summer events.
In addition to the event characters, players can anticipate new outfits for Kirara, Nilou, and Wanderer. While details about these skins are scarce at the moment, players can expect at least one of them to be of 5-star rarity since we just got three 4-star skins in version 4.4.
Vibro-Crystal Event Rerun in 4.6 And a new Area?
Meanwhile, leaks suggest version 4.6 will feature the Vibro-Crystal Research event. This event is known for its simplicity in its requirement for completion.
In addition to the event, leaks suggest version 4.6 will expand the region of Fontaine into a sub-region called Kapim. This expansion will introduce new enemies and provide players with new puzzles and chests to find while exploring a new area. Moreover, players can look forward to the arrival of Chiori, a new Geo Sword user.
Regarding the release date, Genshin Impact 4.8 should go live on the 16th or 17th of July 2024, depending on time zones. As always, it’s important to approach leaks with caution, as plans may change before the final release.
